Justin Peters
Justin Michael Peters, 32, Minier and formerly of Fairbury, died at 10:26 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
A celebration of Justin’s life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church, Fairbury with Pastor Stephen Goodwin officiating. Greetings with the family will begin at 9 am, followed by service at 11 a.m. Everyone is then invited for a lunch social after services have been completed. Come and go, as you please. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is assisting with arrangements. The family suggests memorials be given to the Justin Peters Memorial Fund.
Justin was born August 7, 1984 in Bloomington, Ill. the son of Ron W. and Lori L. Seymour Peters. They survive in Fairbury.
Other survivors include his girlfriend, Danielle Fozard, Forsyth; two brothers, Corey Peters, Urbana; Jeremy Peters, Fairbury; and maternal grandparents, Bill and Rosalie Seymour, Atlanta. In addition to many, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His legacy will flourish on through his daughter Addi.
Justin was a 2002 graduate of Prairie Central High School. He attended Millikin University, Decatur where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. While attending Millikin University he played football and baseball.
Justin worked in graphic design at Central Illinois Promotions and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Fairbury. He enjoyed sketching and painting and loved his Chicago sports. He could often be seen holding his Jonathon Toews doll while the Blackhawks took the ice. His heartwarming smile and infectious laugh will be dearly missed..
