Pontiac- Donna R. Faust, 80, of Pontiac, IL passed away at 11:08 pm on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Good Samaritan Home in Pontiac.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at South Side Cemetery Mausoleum in Pontiac, Illinois. A graveside service will be held following visitation at the cemetery with Rev. Gretchen Stinebaugh officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Home in Pontiac, IL. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Pontiac is handling arrangements for the family.
Donna was born December 29, 1938 in Streator, IL a daughter of Minor and Gladys Wolbrant Duvall. She married Robert L. Faust on June 28, 1975 in Pontiac. He passed away May 12th of this year.
She is survived by her children: Theresa (Luis) Diaz of Pontiac, IL and William (Pam) Raber of Joliet, IL; her grandchildren: Jessica (Kevin) Vernia, Josh Gernentz, JD Gernentz (Fiancé Maryssa McCoy), Bobby Raber, Jacque Arduini and Jason Arduini; her great grandchildren: Caitlynn Vernia, David Gualandi, Jeffery Hamilton, Ryan and Brandon Langston and Ezrae Gernentz; and two brothers: Robert (Dorothy) Duvall of Streator, IL and Jerry (Carol) Duvall of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Judy Duvall and JoAnn Duvall Grimsley; and two daughters: Cheryl Gaydos and June Arduini.
She was educated in the Streator schools. Donna was a lifetime member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed making quilts for family.
Donna was a loving mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed.
