Bobbie Elliott
Bobbie Lee Elliott, 83, passed away at 1:20 a.m., Oct. 29, 2017 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
Cremation has been accorded.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. Pastor Ed Huddelson will be officiating.
Friends may greet the family from 3-6:30 p.m., also on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Bob was born May 5, 1934 in Taylor, MI the son of Oscar and Iva Dawson Elliott.
He married Carolyn Jackson in 1957. She survives.
Also surviving are her son, Steven (Kristin) Elliott; seven grandchildren, Molly, Katie, Thomas, Arielle, Michael, Elizabeth, and Abigail Elliott; nieces, Donna Brown and Connie Nelson; grandniece Jennifer Brown Wilson and grandnephew, Mark Brown.
Bobbie was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Chenoa VFW.
He worked for General Telephone Company for many years before opening a service station on Towanda Avenue in Bloomington. He also owned and operated with his son Elliott IV Enterprises.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Chenoa.
